Busting Myths and Connecting Hearts at Jama Masjid, Kalyan

Around 125 Non-Muslim men visited the 167-year-old Jama Masjid at Doodh Naka in Kalyan, as part of *‘Masjid Parichay’* initiative of the city's Muslim community. The initiative aimed to bring about Communal Harmony and remove misconceptions about Islam and it's place of worship among Non-muslims by offering them a front-row view.

Most visitors explored the Masjid building  and watched the Muezzin recite adhaan (call to prayers) followed by a Namaz performed by a large gathering of locals and believers. Prof. Wajid Ali Khan, from Aurangabad, explained the visitors the Basics of Islam, importance of Wudu, Namaz and Masjid. He also responded to the queries on Religion, Namaz, Quran, Prophets, Idolatry and much more.

Few of our Non Muslim Brothers were in tears and couldn't express their happiness on being able to visit the Masjid for first time.

Mr Deshmukh said "Best Moment of my Life"

One Advocate said "I passed by this place Hundreds of time but it is for the first time I m getting an opportunity to visit a Masjid"

Mr Rajendra said "Request committee members to organise such programs every six months so we spread love and peace amongst us"

All praise to Almighty Allah for making this happen. Sincere Thanks from bottom our hearts to every single organisation and person for their support, cooperation and duas for this program.

Jazakallah Khair
